Jack's First Swim

Yesterday (Wednesday) we all went for a swim together!  It was Jack's first time in the pool and we didn't really know how he would react.  Julia loved her first swim and was very confident right from day 1 in the pool! Jack didn't seem to know what to think once we got him in the water, I think he was a little bit too cold, it was like a lukewarm bath on the cooler side, and strangely he likes his bath very warm- what would seem almost too warm for a baby.  He didn't protest but didn't seem too into it either.  I took him into the family hot tub where he looked much more comfortable and started smiling and coo-ing!  He kicked his little legs and got pretty excited.  We watched Julia jump into the pool and swim around, and then called it a day! It took us about 20 minutes to get everyone ready once we got to the pool, and then we were there for 30 min, and another 20 to get back to the car.  No photos of Julia, she wouldn't let me take one with her or of her!  It was exhausting but very fun to try something else as a family of 4!  I would say it was a success, we'll definitely do that again.
